SPEAKER ANIEKAN BASSEY MOURNS MADAM CHRISTIANA ELIJAH EFFIONG
The Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey has condoled with the family of Madam Christiana Elijah Effiong describing her death as a huge loss to Ekim Enen village and particularly to her immediate family.
The Speaker who commiserated with the family, friends and associates of the deceased, affirmed that she lived a life of service to humanity.
He stated these today at Ekim Enen, his hometown in Uruan Local Government Area, at the burial ceremony of the deceased.
Rt. Hon Aniekan Bassey prayed for the repose of her soul and for God’s comfort over the family.
The deceased was the mother of the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Southern Uruan ward two, Mr. Emmanuel Edem Okon
