A Nigerian Blogger, Dominic Edem aka DEE stormed Indigo Lounge Maitama, Abuja to celebrate with the Senior Risk Analyst of Bridge Credit Limited, Olorunda Michael Oluwatobi on the occasion of his Birthday.
DEE who arrived the venue of the Birthday Party alongside his friends, around 7pm on Friday, said that, birthday is something Everybody needs to celebrate. In his words;
” Not all that was born the same day with Michael lives to witness today. It’s not because Michael is better than them or he can take good care of himself better than they do, but because of the Mercy and Grace of God on Michael’s life that has made it possible for all of us to gather here today, to witness the Birthday anniversary of Michael, and to celebrate with him.
I hereby join your parents, friends, colleagues, church members, associates to celebrate you today. You will be a blessing to your parents, family and to the entire world. No devil will see you. Where your parents could not reach, you will reach there and even beyond”
DEE , while filing questions from newsmen in Abuja, said that Michael is his best friend that he has known for long. ” How I wish all Yoruba people were like Michael in behavior and character– the Yoruba land would have been more better than its present state.
Also asked why he appeared in shorts, he said this is how God wants it today. In his words, ” In every important celebration, one needs to appear differently and specially Owing to the fact that Michael is an important person, I can’t afford to appear in a common way to celebrate him. This is the man that hosted my birthday, sponsored everything on two Sunday ago. He called it grand finale of Dee’s birthday. So how do you expect me to appear before such a great man, on the occasion of his birthday, commonly dressed?”
In appreciation to mark the birthday, DEE presented undisclosed gift to the celebrant, Michael.
In response, Mr. Michael thanked DEE for finding time to honour his invitation despite short notice and tight schedule.
The occasion was witnessed by many personalities, including top politicans, business men/ women, church members, neighbors etc. The birthday was graced with cutting of Cake.
